I have been away to celebrate my mum’s 90th birthday.
My mum deserved a great Birthday Party.
She is doing well and could enjoy everything to the full.
We had a lovely celebration, great food ,
lovely company and everyone was happy.
Never forget to tell your loved ones that you love them.

While we were there, we visited the Rainforest there too.
Yes, it was in Germany,
still we walked through the forest
and it rained heavily. 🙂
At the end of the walk we were rewarded
with the view of the local waterfall.
The Uracher Wasserfall
falls 37 meters down and had lots of water as it had rained a lot before.
You cannot drive to the waterfall but have to walk as there is a conservation area around it. It is beautiful to walk through the forest, and only hear the birds, the splashing of the little stream next to you and then the tossing of the waterfall.
As it is June everything is beautifully lush and green.

Hallo liebe Ute. First of all a very happy birthday to your Mother, she must have enjoyed her party for sure. But she didn’t walk to the waterfall???? Beautiful photos as always and I will use the Poppies as today’s screensaver – I really love to look at them a bit longer. I will have to Google to find out where exactly that beautiful waterfall is. Vielen Dank Carina, no my mum didn’t walk there, it is too uneven and too long. It is a lovely area there and we used to walk a lot as children around the mountains. It also brings back memories. In hash winters it freezes too, which looks amazing, I have never seen it though. a wonderful little piece of Earth this beautyspot. 🙂

Ganz herzlichen Glückwunsch deiner Mom zum Geburtstag. Dann warst du also mal wieder hier in der Gegend. So viel Wasser habe ich am Uracher Wasserfall noch nie gesehen. Aber ist ja auch kein Wunder bei dem Regenwetter.
Ja Ute es war so schoen voll. Vielen Dank. Wir waren auch in den thermen, super. Naechstes Mal wenn ich kmme, vielleicht koenne wir uns ja treffen dort oder in der Nahe. vielleicht im August. 🙂

They had so much rain , everything was so green, that is the beauty of rain. We head such a wonderful celebration, a memory we will keep forever. My mum loved it!
