Still beautiful Autumn and the leaves are falling…
It feels great rustling through the leaves
like a child…..
My old Primary School from the back….
The rules are:
Oops nearly forgot the tags:
Here are some:
Liz, I know who has beautiful Autumn view from her house.
Steffi who has a lovely Autumnal park nearby
Sally who shows us beauty every day.
Terry who loves her camera and takes beautiful pictures from her neighbourhood.
My mum told me that the tree outside her room has such beautiful colours.
Shame that not all people see it, she says.
I have seen the tree and I am so happy my mum sees and enjoys the beauty in life still.
Yellow, golden, green and red,
leaves on the trees and on the ground.
Beauty all around!
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?
No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep and cows:
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Take your time!
Life is worth noticing!
Have a beautiful, colourful day!
While I was in Germany, I took some pictures for my own Photo Challenge, called “which season are we in?”
Before I arrived in Germany they had rather heavy snowfall so I captured this on my phone.
Winter and Autumn in one!
And I attach another picture of some typical houses in Germany, these are in the little town where my parents live now.
It is the Market place in Bad Urach/ Germany. This picture was taken in August though and I love those old houses
I am not a professional photographer, still I hope you like the pictures.
Have a wonderful day!
A friend of mine sent me an email, saying:
“I am going out for a walk. See who’s about and have a word or two about this, that and the other. I am going to do the 2 hour circuit, back through the village, across the river on the road bridge, first right and along the dirt track for a mile or so to a foot bridge back across the river, up and down a hill and I’ll be back home.
It sounds lovely and I would have enjoyed walking with him, unfortunately he lives in another country.
He sent me this beautiful picture from his walk.
I only walked to the post office but still on this short walk…with my music plugged in my ears, I enjoyed the blue sky in between the clouds, some red leaves, some yellow leaves and still quite a bit of green leaves on the trees. So even along High Road it is a joy to walk if you look and concerntrate on the beauty around you and not think of the traffic. I can’t even remember if there was traffic 🙂 How amazing it is how positive thoughts can make you see beauty around you where no one else can.
This is a picture walking towards High Road!
Enjoy the beauty around you and enjoy Autumn!
And a special thank you to my friend who sent me the email and the beautiful picture. xx
After a wonderful cycle ride through the colourful trees in the countryside north of London, I regret not taking any pictures. Nature presented itself fantasticly; Beautifully coloured leaves and trees; some autumn flowers; we saw cows, goats, rabbits, horses and and beautiful birds, singing. It was very peaceful and quiet with just nature’s voices.
We stopped near the canal in a picturesque town and watched houseboats go through the lock, chatted with the owners and then headed back through the woods.
It seems every year nature shows a new miracle when the season changes and we can only notice it and appreciate it by going out and look for its beauty.
