Early darkness invites to many lights.
With Christmas coming up
what is better to combine light with Christmas
and start the Christmas season in the big garden.
My favourite new flowers in Kew!
There were light shows with music, laser light pictures projected on a screen of a water fountain, green laser lights with fog, amazing displays of colourful lights, a whole field of lights changing colour with the rhythm of the music and much more. Too much to capture everything on camera. Of course there was mulled wine and hot chocolate too!
I did capture it all in my memory!

We are entering December,
It is a wonderful time
Even though it is colder and darker;
if you are prepared for it and get to it with a positive outlook
it will be an awesome December.
Some ideas for a warm and happy December:
(if your December cold too.)
Get candles, scented or not, they give a warm peaceful feeling,
Wear woolly jumpers, they make you feel so cosy,
experiment with soups and stews, perfect for cold days,
have fun with making handmade crafts,
prepare for Christmas with selfmade cards or maybe knitted gifts
Make some cookies
invite friends to share a hot cup of cocoa and a chat.
Wishing you all a very wonderful December!

all pictures are from Google, except the soup, that was mine and it was delicious. 🙂
Finally I managed to get my Christmas tree up…. here it is:
can you see you carefully I draped the cat around the bottom of the tree….
While decorating the tree I listened to a beautiful song –
Where peaceful waters flow – Chris de Burgh
Where he sings appropriately :
“Only love can find the door …
Only love can reach the shore to heaven”
Love and peace to you all!
My blog of the year award is full of shiney stars and Sharla completed it!
Thank you so much Sharla for adding my last wonderful star.
I appreciate it and show it happily!
Here are some pictures from the German Christmas Market along the Thames in London.
They are taken with my phone so night photos do not come out so well.
I loved the stalls and the smell and the atmosphere.
I shall go again!
I enjoyed an Ostrich burger for the first time in my life, rather nice!
Handmade glass items
so many stalls
Across the Thames
It is cold and next time I go,
I shall indulge in a cup of hot chocolate with real whipped cream on top…. hmmmmm.
Enjoy your Pre – Christmas time with friends, hot chocolate, loved ones and togetherness.
and keep warm!
Much love to all of you from Ute!
