I, Danny was fortunate enough to accompany my mum and family travelling to Bavaria.
First I found great bushes to climb in my auntie’s garden
while my mum tried to shoot dinner (at a Middle Age Market in Schongau)
….. we did have salad that night…. 🙂
We enjoyed driving along the Kochelsee in beautiful sunshine,
then up a mountain
and down again to the Walchensee.
There we went with a cable car to the Herzogstand and enjoyed the hot weather in 1600m height.
It was so wonderfully warm, the view was breathtaking from the top seeing so many more mountains of the Alpes.
I was allowed to sit right by the window in the cable car so I could see better going down.
It was an amazing experience for a bear. ( just a bit hot with my fur)
I am so grateful to see so many beautiful mountains, lakes and winding roads in hot sunshine.
On our way home we stopped at a really little lake/pond with a duck family which was brilliant to cool down after a hot day.
( this little one was the slowest…. so was my mum with taking the picture…)
A great day out for all of us!
We went to see more and I was so happy to get out again with mum.
This time I saw the Olympic Park, that was amazing. the weather was nice too… well most of the time!
There are beautiful flowers, plants and walkways.
This is the Olympic Aquatic Centre which has a funny shape. My mum and her sister went swimming in there too and they loved it. Mum wants to go again soon, she so loved the long 50 m lanes…. and the hairdryers… apparently. 🙂
Then we went with the cable car over the Thames, I loved the view, I could almost see my house from there!
You can see the famous Dome behind me where they filmed a scene of a James Bond Film once.
All ended with a wonderful glass of Champagne with High Tea and the best view from the 42nd floor of a building in the middle of London!
The view was breathtaking and the Champagne made it even more fun!
My mum with the tallest building in Europe The Shard!
London is so much fun and there is so much to see…. and we have not finished…..
See you soon!
You all know me as the bear who went to Spain last year to meet Manny from California. Well, Manny has run away to China, hope he enjoys it.
I had a lovely holiday here in London with my mum and her sister. I saw many places I have never seen before. I was so lucky and happy that I could go with them.
First we went to Chislehurst Cave that is where that photo was taken and I didn’t remember.
A man made cave from the Saxons then the Romans extended it for finding flint and the it was used in the 2nd World War for 50 000 people. It was rather cold and so many ways you could easily get lost so we had to follow the guide with the lamp as there was no light.
She did say “every last Thursday of the month they look for lost tourists”, but I didn’t want to stay that long…..
Then we had a picnic in a park just in time as the heaven opened with lightning and thunder.
We visited Danson House which was a Georgian house and had a Victorian kitchen where I had some fun…. as you can see:
Well I was allowed to go and sit anywhere yay!
After that my mum went with her visitors to Buckingham Palace. I wasn’t allowed in there…. it was rather posh my mum said and she thoroughly enjoyed it ( specially the cake with the crown) , she brought some pictures back to show us.
Well enough for today…. I hope you enjoyed the little tour as much as I enjoyed all the travels.
Soon more from me!
See you soon!
I was having so much fun in the holidays….. but can’t remember where I was…
can you help me?
… just give me a clue… I might remember then…
My mum also had a great time with her sister and couldn’t read many of your blogs unfortunately …..
she will get back to it after next week…… We will until then have more adventures and fun!
I will soon show you more of the adventures I had, that is if I can remember…. surely my mum can! 🙂
Summer here we come! again…. 🙂
Danny, my teddy who went visiting Spain with me last year was rather excited, as he was allowed to come with his mum to school to Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Here is a link to Manny his best friend!
So after a hearty breakfast we went to school.
He met the cook and both helped a bit in the office answering the phone and renaming files on the computer. They were a great team.
Then a visit to the Nursery with already decorated tables….
He had a healthy picnic with lots of children and many more teddies, a thoroughly enjoyable day , he said.
It was a hot day , so for the rest of the afternoon Danny helped mum again with computer work and checking the printer.
He got home exhausted and rather full up.
He had an exciting day out and he could tell me many things which made him happy today!
Soon holiday start and we have more outings planned! Yay
As Danny will soon go on an adventure holiday to Spain, he needed to experience travel before.
He accompanied me to Germany.
In my rented car, he fell asleep, or was it my driving ( on the other side) ?
He loved the river and posed on the wooden bridge,
Danny loved the German yellow postbox.
He enjoyed a bit of sunbathing near the river.
He did not behave well in the shoe shop. He had to try all different sandals on.
Still his cuteness saved him. ♥
At the airport just before taking off, we saw 11 hot air baloons in the sky, what a lovely site.
Danny has experienced being under people,
he has seen that there is so much beauty in nature,
he has seen kindness in everyone,
he has seen how enriching travel is.
All in all Danny enjoyed his short travel and he sure is ready for more adventures.

“Travel teaches toleration.” – Benjamin Disraeli
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” – Helen Keller
Wishing you all an adventurous day!
Since I have redone my bedroom with new furniture and pictures, I needed something to complete it.
I have a new lodger in my flat and he is well loved already.
May I introduce
He came to me to work yesterday and I took him home straight away.
Some of you might recognise him, as he is related to Manny from Marsha’s blog. He has the same ancestors.
Of course he had to check his new room out straight away and sat on different furniture.
We are getting to know each other at the moment and I am sure it will develop in a wonderful friendship!
So far we had a lovely day together and enjoyed each others company! He loves blogging too and will give me some advice, and probably do a post by himself one day !
He loves lots of hugs,
is very loving,
is very cuddly
never makes a mess,
and is so cute!
A big Welcome to Danny!
