While the sun is shining and mum is still working,
I am going to do a short post for my feline and non feline friends.
I found some lovely new spots to relax.
The sun comes in through the window,
a perfect spot on the table,
I always have to keep moving though to keep up with the sun.
I found mum’s big beanbag, what a wonderful cosy spot.
and the sun gets there too.
This is the life.
I do get out more as it is warmer and sunnier.
As it is rather quiet outside,
so I do get my cuddles inside.
I think they are happy to cuddle me,
as they can’t cuddle or hug anyone else presently,
so I get even more. Yay
Hope you all stay safe!
We can get over this together,
doing the right thing!
Please look after yourself!
Dear wonderful Reader,
in between my naps a quick post.
I found new places for excellent cat naps.
First, a wonderful basket, I jumped in as soon it was empty.
Second , my mum’s drawer on her Computer desk.
I thought I better look up for a proper picture.
otherwise I just relax on the bin, the sun makes it warm.
All three really comfy places.
Try them out in your house, dear fellow feline friends.
Psst… don’t tell your owner you got the tips from me.
Have a purrfect nap on your favourite place.
My mum has bought me a new cat tree….
however I made sure she knows that it is too high for me..
I am a senior after all.
She got the message and she took it apart again
and made two relaxing places out of it.
Now I love them and can happily relax!
I can choose the sunny place or relax in the shade.
They are very comfortable I must say.
Have a relaxing Caturday!
Hi there , Thomas here.
I am updating you with news from our household.
Things are constantly changing here and it is hard to keep up with it.
One minute there is furniture,
next minute an empty room,
then suddenly more boxes and
then new furniture.
Of course I am the first to try it out.
It got my approval, although my mum has now filled it with stuff,
so I can’t jump up anymore.
I guess that is what it is for.
I found a nice space with my friends.
The room has changed and I still find cosy places, so I am happy!
Changes can be hard
then can work out beautifully!
It was Thomas’s Birthday and for bringing us joy, love and warmth
he received a little present I found at
Katzenworld‘s blog and ordered it from their on line shop.
It arrived very quickly right on time for his birthday.
He enjoyed it straight away and played with it, see for yourself.
After playing he needed a rest in his cosy basket.
He is now 8 years old.
Happy Purr-thday Thomas!
In this busy busy world it is important
balance your life,
empty your thoughts,
take a deep breath,
take time for yourself,
enjoy the beauty.
This is a reminder for myself
and I invite you all
to take part and take a little break with me.
Take Thomas’s example:
Wishing you a relaxing, love filled day!
Hello all furry friends, and all blog readers,
I needed to update you all quickly, while the computer is on.
After a long time of finding all different places to rest and sleep,
a tight cardboard box
Sometimes a bigger one….
The empty suitcase after a trip….
the lap of course….
my food giver finally got the message…..
She ordered a soft basket bed for me to sleep in:
I can’t wait until it will be delivered.
As it is very often rainy, I prefer to be indoors.
Don’t get me wrong, I am out and about when it is dry,
but the British Summer is true to its’ reputation. Wet and windy.
So I can snuggle into my new bed and enjoy my naps, rest and sleep.
The days are getting shorter and it is almost night by the time we get home from work.
“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.”
There are so many things in my life daily I am grateful for.
Here are some of them:
My colleagues saying happily “Good Morning , what a beautiful day” to me this morning!
The wonderful healthy salad sandwich I had for lunch.
My cat sitting at the top of the stairs greeting me when I get home!
My fluffy teddy fleece cardigan.
The progress of my knitting, ( my Icelandic style jumper)
The hug my 22 year old son gave me.
The love I feel from you, my friends, close and far away.
What are you grateful for today?
Gratitude is one of the sweet shortcuts to finding peace of and happiness inside. No matter what is going on outside of us, there’s always something we could be grateful for. ”

I am looking forward to Christmas, the time before is so lovely with dark nights, candles, hot chocolate and snuggling into a warm cardigan.
I have just bought wool to knit a Icelandic style cardigan. Hopefully it will be finished for Christmas.
Specially now that it gets colder outside, I am a fan of open tea, my favourite at the moment is Lemongrass and Vanilla sweetened with honey!
Cardigans are my favourite…. I do love knit ware and I am known for my cardigans. I never go anywhere without one.
Here are my nominees: If you don’t do awards please see it as appreciation, as I do love your blogs.
Enjoy the award and wishing you all a wonderful week!
