Good bye Thomas

Our beloved cat Thomas passed away last night.

31.10.2008 – 5.4.2023

We will miss him so much.

He has gone over the Rainbow bridge and will meet all other cats

like little precious Binky.

He was the most wonderful, gentle cat

everyone loved him.

He brought us nothing but joy.

He will always be in our heart.

Coving nightmare – Don’t give up

A bit of DIY turned out more complicated than I thought.

I wanted to add coving in my dining room and bought enough for it.

Yes, I have already run out as I cut so many angles the wrong way round. 😦

The long stretches were fine, now round the chimney breast – it is so difficult.

I looked at a WordPress Webinar and need to try things out now.

Best TV – Guest post

Hi all,

it is Thomas here.

I hope you are all well and are keeping healthy.

As it is rather cold out there.

I was more often in than out,

keeping myself warm with my new heated cat blanket.

I love love love it.

The best buy my mum has ever bought.

She gets purrs and love from me in return.

The other day we watched TV together

and there was a great nature programme on.

The birds were rather interesting, flying along.

I had to watch closely so they don’t fly out of the TV.

I so love our sessions together,

cuddles, strokes, belly rubs and pleanty of food.

I am a very happy, content and loved cat with little needs.

Humans can learn from that.

Relax in the sun

While the sun is shining and mum is still working,

I am going to do a short post for my feline and non feline friends.

I found some lovely new spots to relax.

The sun comes in through the window,

a perfect spot on the table,

I always have to keep moving though to keep up with the sun.

I found mum’s big beanbag, what a wonderful cosy spot.

and the sun gets there too.

This is the life.

I do get out more as it is warmer and sunnier.

As it is rather quiet outside,

so I do get my cuddles inside.

I think they are happy to cuddle me,

as they can’t cuddle or hug anyone else presently,

so I get even more. Yay

Best Cat Nap Places

Dear wonderful Reader,

Thomas here,

in between my naps a quick post.

I found new places for excellent cat naps.

First, a wonderful basket, I jumped in as soon it was empty.

Second , my mum’s drawer on her Computer desk.

I thought I better look up for a proper picture.

otherwise I just relax on the bin, the sun makes it warm.

All three really comfy places.

Try them out in your house, dear fellow feline friends.

Psst… don’t tell your owner you got the tips from me.

Have a purrfect nap on your favourite place. 

Caturday- Snooze day

My mum has bought me a new cat tree….

however I made sure she knows that it is too high for me..

I am a senior after all.

She got the message and she took it apart again

and made two relaxing places out of it.

Now I love them and can happily relax!

 

I can choose the sunny place or relax in the shade.

 

They are very comfortable I must say.

Changes again…

Hi there , Thomas here.

I am updating you with news from our household.

Things are constantly changing here and it is hard to keep up with it.

One minute there is furniture,

next minute an empty room,

then suddenly more boxes and

then new furniture.

Of course I am the first to try it out.

 

It got my approval, although my mum has now filled it with stuff,

so I can’t jump up anymore.

I guess that is what it is for.

I found a nice space with my friends.

The room has changed and I still find cosy places, so I am happy!

Changes can be hard

then can work out beautifully!

 

Purr – thday Boy Thomas

It was Thomas’s Birthday and for bringing us joy, love and warmth

he received a little present  I found at

Katzenworld‘s blog and ordered it from their on line shop.

It arrived very quickly right on time for his birthday.

He enjoyed it straight away and played with it, see for yourself.
