We had practised for an exam before Covid happend.
Luckily we could pick up and restart when the Covid restrictions were lifted this year.
We could practice again and we did the exam.
What a wonderful way to end the year, with another trophy.
This Third Goldbar is for Street dance.

It was time to say good bye to my Double Bass adventure.
It has been picked up again to travel back home.
What a great adventure and experience it was!
It is an amazing instrument and not that easy. It made me admire and respect the Bass players who so easily improvise.
I had such a great time learning it
I loved every minute of it.
I can only recommend,
if you want to try something you are passionate about...
go for it....
have fun,
you might love it,
and you will always remember it.
Here are some Blues I learnt with ‘You Tube’ backing tracks:
12 Bar Blues in C
Jazz Blues in F – Improvising
Bags’ Groove 140bpm
To finish off a riff
Hope you enjoyed the odd Blues.
I have recorded more so I can always listen and remember the time with my Double Bass fondly.
A big THANK YOU to my sister who made this adventure possible.
Thomas Bergersen is part of my favourite Group Two Steps from Hell. He composes lots of other amazing music apart from the epics for Two Steps from Hell.
In March 2020, Thomas Bergerson announced the seven part album series Humanity. Humanity is intended to be a seven part album series exploring all aspects of human emotion.
On 1 July 2020, Humanity Chapter I was released. The first chapter’s focus is on freedom, strength and unity, bringing many musical cultures together in a colorful and expressive way.
On 11 November 2020, Humanity Chapter II was added. Chapter II is about our families, children, dreams and desires, our legacy, our hardship, heroism, fate and purpose.
On 6 May 2021 Humanity – Chapter III was released. With Chapter III, Thomas wanted to take a soft approach to exploring the deepest, purest and perhaps the most fulfilling feelings we can experience as humans on this planet.
♥ Love ♥
He describes in this emotional chapter emotions of love during life as you can see from the titles: Sparks, Red, First Kiss, Butterflies, You are my home, Magic, Born to dream, Little star, Growing old together, Until the lights go out, It was a life worth living, Love suite, You, Sunshower.
The album, I dare say my favourite Humanity album, is amazing, there are no words to describe it really.
Every title is really bringing the emotions out with the orchestra.
My all time favourite from this album is Until the lights go out with piano and guitar.
This track is so peaceful, so calming; I want to hear it when I am at the end of my life, ready to go to the maker and have it played at my funeral.
I am practising it on the guitar, it is so beautiful.
In the meanwhile Chapter IV is out too; If you like it – look out for it.
Thomas has a facebook page here where you can stream his music.
I had to smile when I heard it and such lovely words:
Smile
Music by Charles Chaplin, Lyrics by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons
Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it’s breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
you’ll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You’ll see the sun come shining through
for you
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness Although a tear may be ever so near
That’s the time you must keep on trying
Smile what’s the use of crying
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile
If you’ll just
Smile
Diamonds are forever : – a diamond bracelet/ brooch
What does Mr Bond drink….
research: Martini – shaken not stirred
“Bond also drinks gin, beer and champagne in the books and films, and in Casino Royale orders a drink he names a Vesper: “Three measures of Gordon’s, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet, shake it over ice, and then add a thin slice of lemon peel.”

Luckily I just found a Ball room gown my mum wore about 45 years ago.
I tried and it fitted.
Diamonds- nobody knows if they are real as long as they are sparkly
” The eight studio album under the Two Steps from Hell banner to be made public by project composers NP and TB the aptly named “Battlecry” offers 26 new movie trailer , war documentary and death defying gymnastic routine-ready of expertly crafted, epically resented audio melodrama. As per usual most of the tracks are instrumental but guest vocalist Merethe Soltvedt and Felicia Farerre lend their voices to a pair of songs.” – Excerpt from their website.
For me this is another amazing collection of epic music of my favourite musicians.
Some tracks remind me of other music composed by Thomas and Nick.
This collection is more epic, dramatic and monumental and the name “Battlecry” does its justice.
Movie trailers perfect for war documentaries and film – you can let your imagination go.
For me the full orchestral tracks are the best.
My favourites are Victory, Never back down, Cannon in D-Minor – an orchestral masterpiece, Release me, Last of the light, No honour in Blood and Star Sky.
The best classical music of our time. This is real music!
Epicness at its best.
Thomas and Nick never disappoint instead they get better and better.
Looking forward to many more amazing new tracks……. or even a concert in Europe one day????
