Kew Gardens Virtual Smile
Kew Gardens
my favourite garden has been closed due to the circumstances.
I miss going there so much.
They have now re -opened with limited visitors going in
and you have to book a time slot.
Unfortunately I have to take the train to get there and
I am not quite prepared to do that just yet.
So I went through my pictures from previous visits
and enjoyed a stroll through.
Here is what I found:
(pictures previously not published, taken by me in Kew Gardens)
Something Red
… it does say Red Dragon….. 🙂
Something yellow
Something pink
and something smelly
Yes, it was really smelly. What an amazing plant.
Hope you enjoyed my little walk through time, colours and the garden.

Pictures are from visits during the last 2 years.

Kew – Indonesian Orchid Festival …
by night.
As last year Kew Gardens had Orchid Festival.
This time all Orchids come from Indonesia.
New this year was for me :
I got a slot for Orchids by night.
A different experience which was fantastic.
Not only I see all Orchids
submersed in different lights
also there were Indonesian dancers, music,
food tasters (we had a great Indonesian soup and Ginger Tea)
and a wonderful atmosphere.
Enjoy some of the pictures I took.

A great visit
I will I go by day again soon.

Shades of Green
Green is the colour of nature.
The colour of Mother Nature
The colour of Life and energy.
It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility.
Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety.
Dark green is also commonly associated with money.
…. just look at these different greens….
so many shades
and many different shapes and textures.
Green is relaxing for me, it feels warm, yet fresh.
However I do not have many outfits in green.
Do you love green?
What is your favourite colour?

Weekly Inspiration No 22- Every day is special
Don’t ever save anything for a special occasion.
Being ALIVE is a special occasion.
I remember these beautiful cups from my childhood.
They came out when we had a celebration like a birthday.
This one was always my favourite (next to the red one)
My mum said I can take it home.
Now I can celebrate every day,
as every day is special,
with drinking my tea out of this very special cup.
*****
Celebrate each day!
Be alive!
Much love
from me!
