Riches

Riches

When I wish I was rich, then I know I am ill.

Because, to tell the truth, I have enough as I am.

So when I catch myself thinking. Ah, if I was rich….!

I say to myself: Hello! I’m not well. My vitality is low

D.H. Lawrence

We do have enough as we are,

our desires are always of wanting more.

We often don’t need everything we want.

Always think twice before buying something.

Happiness and peace does not come from material things.

Count your blessings and you see that you are rich.

I feel rich and blessed to have such amazing friends.

Thank you all.

Weekly inspiration No 45 – Gratitude

Standard

Pause and ask yourself

what are the things you are grateful for today.

Decide to appreciate the good  in your life,

you will be surprised at how much you find.

“Joy is what happens to us

when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.”

Marianne Williamson

Join me in my gratitude game:

1: my sister, for always being the best sister in the world.

2: my garden, it gives me so much joy and peace.

3: the parsley I just cut from my garden to decorate my dinner with.

4: the internet which makes friends far away so much closer.

5: my wonderful bloggers who give me joy throughout the year….big hugs!

My garden changed again

Standard

My small garden needed some more care.

After the new fence was done,

I decided to have some decking down to hide a grey concrete floor.

We worked hard to get it all done.

We made it very quick really.

but now it needed rearranging….

so I moved pots, potted new plants, and changed things around.

I am happy with this now!

You can see the left side is my “Strawberry Field”

Through an inspiration from Sartenata’s Blog,

I used some old shoes to pot plants in.

Also I made a planter from an old pallet and painted it.

Now there is parsley and mint on one side and petunias on the other.

I do love my tea cups in the garden too!

Here is more detail in the slideshow.

Now I can invite you in my garden

for a peaceful and happy time!

Weekly Inspiration No 22- Every day is special

Standard

Don’t ever save anything for a special occasion.

Being ALIVE is a special occasion.

I remember these beautiful cups from my childhood.

They came out when we had a celebration like a birthday.

This one was always my favourite (next to the red one)

My mum said I can take it home.

Now I can celebrate every day,

as every day is special,

with drinking my tea out of this very special cup.

Celebrate each day!

Be alive!

Much love

from me!
