“In order to carry a positive action
we must develop here a positive vision.”

“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones,
you’ll start having positive results”.
–Willie Nelson
“To be kind, honest and have positive thoughts; to forgive those who harm us and treat everyone as a friend. To help those who are suffering and never consider ourselves superior to anyone else; even if this advice seems rather simplistic, make the effort of seeing whether be following it you can find greater happiness.”

I have had busy weeks and even in my holiday I have been busy so I haven’t been reading blogs as much lately.
I had my God – Daughter staying with me and I showed her around London. We had a great time together and so much fun, saw many places, went to the Theatre, visited Mme Tussauds, shopped in Harrods (not really) and walked miles to see the typical London sites. She liked it very much and wants to come again, I am very happy!
In Madame Tussauds I met some great people:
I had breakfast at Tiffany’s with Audrey Hepburn
Had a drink with Jean Connery
Some fun with the Beatles
Enjoyed meeting The Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela
……. and had a date with George Clooney…. woohoo!!!
Finally I got an Oskar……..
Wow it was fun mixing with the famous but exhausting too. Glad to be back at home on my sofa just dreaming about George…. 🙂
So here are my 5 minutes of fame:
This is me, aged 25 being Liza Minelli in the opening number from “Cabaret”.
This was our Christmas Party in the Holiday Inn where I worked for 2 years.
I guess it was the start of my dancing passion…. 🙂

I so love London and if you ever come to London I am more than happy to show you around!
School is starting again, our children go back to be educated.
Do remember though:

It’s not our job to toughen our children up
to face a cruel and heartless world.
It’s our job to raise children
who will make the world
a little less cruel and heartless.

Wishing everyone a good start to the school year
and an amazingly interesting peaceful and joyful year!
I received a late Christmas parcel , which had this in it…
Isn’t it beautiful how they get you with the English words on a Swiss chocolate, bought in Germany….
I love “I make you Tummy Yummy”……. I thought this is happiness.
Really this is only chocolate which makes you feel good, comfort food and stimulating endorphins.
You are in charge of your own happiness:
Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.”
~Groucho Marx~
THE PARADOX OF OUR TIMES~~~~~Dalai Lama
We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers,
Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints,
We spend more, but we have less.
We have bigger houses, but smaller families,
More conveniences, but less time,
We have more degrees, but less sense,
More knowledge, but less judgement,
More experts, but more problems,
More medicines, but less wellness.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values,
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often,
We have learnt how to make a living, but not a life,
We have added years to life, but not life to years,
We’ve been all the way to the moon and back,
But have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbour,
We have conquered outer space, but not inner space,
We’ve cleaned up the air, but polluted our soul,
We’ve split the atom, but not our prejudice,
We’ve higher incomes, but lower morals,
We’ve become long on quantity but short on quality.
These are the times of tall men, and short character,
Steep profits, and shallow relationships,
These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare,
More leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition.
These are the days of two incomes, but more divorces,
Of fancier houses, but broken homes,
It is a time when there is much in the show window, and nothing in the stockroom.
A time when technology can bring this letter to you,
And a time when you can choose,
Either to make a difference …. or just hit, delete.
