Guest post: Cat in the Box


As my mum is out

I jumped on the computer

to show you my favourite places.

From the title you can see it is a box,

yes anything enclosed, I love

additional to my mum’s lap of course.

There are always new places appearing in my house,

boxes and others.

I utilise them all.

I promised my friend Binky to show my relaxing places.

So here we are:

the box on the sofa


the box on the floor

the tiny shoebox

the rocking chair


my mum’s computer desk,

I just swipe things of the desk and get comfortable.


the drawer in my mum’s son’s room

Yes I am allowed


Isn’t it just wonderful how many places I have to relax and snooze!

So now it’s your turn,

find a peaceful spot and have a snooze.

Slow down

find a moment of stillness.


Specially when you don’t have time for it,

window of your mind,

feel the fresh crisp refreshing breeze

blowing in and out of your mind

gently clearing out and

refreshing every cell of your mind and body.

Relax and feel the fresh new energy.

Weekly Inspiration No 7 – Do less


We are always so busy in our lives,

with chores, and general life.

Often we forget to look after ourselves.



Forget the mobile phone, and social media

switch off for a while.



read a book,

have a bath,

visit a friend,

write a letter,

have a rest,

do nothing.

How to relax – bear style – Danny’s weekend


Danny’s first trip in the 2017 took him to Norfolk in England.

He planned a relaxing weekend away.



He stayed in a Mock Elizabethan Grad 2 listed Building, which is a 4 star hotel, near Norwich.

A beautiful building with fountain




First he enjoyed a wonderful cup of tea,



before going to the swimming pool to swim and relax.






Then a visit to Norwich with its castle:




Back to the hotel for a wonderful sleep in the spacious bed



The next morning was verrrrry cold….





Such fantastic icicles.

… and it was time to go back home to London.

Now that was a calm and relaxing time.

How fast time goes, another week gone

and I hope you smiled all the way!

My smile went bigger this week

when I saw my seeds growing finally.

I had collected seeds from different Palm trees and






Hoping they grow big and strong for me

so I can put my hammock in between and relax….




Well in 15 years time perhaps…..hehe

Come into my garden,

close your eyes,

and join in a short meditation.


Make yourself comfortable,

Listen to the sounds of the garden,

bees buzzing,

birds chirping,

rustling of the trees,

feel the sensation of the warm sunshine on your skin,

feel the small breeze against your cheeks,

breathe in the warm air,

gently breathe out,

feel the peace within you.

Focus on the stillness of the garden,

some background noises far away.

Let your thoughts wander,

empty your mind,

feel the stillness and peace.

Concentrate on your breath – in and out.

Feel gratitude for this peaceful moment you can enjoy.


Slowly start wiggling your toes,

Move your fingers,

open your eyes,

stretch your arms and back,

ready to go back to a relaxed and wonderful day!
