Sea of Yellow

I received a bunch of Daffodils last week.

One after the other opened

and gave me a complete sea of yellow in my front room.

It gave a beautiful Spring feeling.

Hurray ,

even in my house Spring has arrived

 

A lovely bunch of yellow tulips.

We rate our happiness too much on what other people think,

when it comes to happiness the only person responsible for it is yourself,

just BE happy and your happiness will radiate to others.

Autumn Beauty

My mum told me that the tree outside her room has such beautiful colours.

Shame that not all people see it, she says.

I have seen the tree and I am so happy my mum sees and enjoys the beauty in life still.

Yellow, golden, green and red,

leaves on the trees and on the ground.

Beauty all around!

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?

No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep and cows:

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?

A poor life this if, full of care,
