My first strawberry !

Today I harvested my first strawberry.

I shared it with a loved one,

of course with cream!

Yummy

There are more to come..

                                 

with more sunshine.

Strawberry Galore

My strawberries this year grew absolutely beautiful.

They bloomed a lot:

 

We seem to have had enough rain

and then the sun came.

I had more strawberries than ever.

Oh how yummy they were.

There are still now some late comers, I eat straight of the plant.

What a joy, what great gift!

Find the wonders of nature

In this dark and grey January

it is still possible to find

wonders of nature.

Encourage yourself to notice them.

Greet the sunshine and  birdsong in the morning,

look at the cloud formation,

see some blooms, cheering up the world.

Nature is a healer in many ways.

Always look with fresh eyes,

bringing wonders to your surroundings.

Strawberry Alley

As you know I have strawberry plants in my garden

and harvested some last year.

This year however my harvest was even better.

This year I had rather big strawberries

 

and lots of them.

My first home grown strawberry

I have just eaten my first delicious home grown strawberry.

I am so happy and excited……

more are getting red…

a bit more sun…. and I can harvest more….

And now an update on my garden as it was such a lovely sunny day today and I put more sweet things in my little garden. I had to smile and think of RoSy when I put his frog out. I know she likes them too!
