as you might have heard in the news
was extremely stormy as Ciara swept through.
There was so much rain with it,
hitting the windows.
The garden needs a good tidy up now,
as ornaments fell off,
some pots tipped, some broken,
the bench cover flew off,
I managed to get it in time to take inside.
The cat didn’t even attempt to go out.
Once the rain and storm dies down I shall rescue everything.
Still the small little flowers braved it all and stand proudly in the pot.
You have to stand firm,
Like a mountain…
If you want to achieve,
No matter what comes,
…. a day in nature
Go and see nature at its’ best.
A rainy day is the perfect time for a walk in the woods – Rachel Carsen
Rain leaves beautiful ‘diamonds’ on leaves.

I hereby declare Spring in London officially open!
I met a blogging friend yesterday and we wanted to go for a walk in the city of London. It was raining heavy and we had to dry off in a pub first. Then we tried our luck again and it was for a while not raining.
The first wonderful thing we saw was a rainbow, a beautiful rainbow. (Sorry my picture did not come out well)
Then we walked along some modern high concrete/ glass office blocks followed by old Victorian and Georgian houses and back to the busy main road.
In the midst of all the houses we spotted some beautiful fowers and new life coming out of what was just branches yesterday.
If you open your eyes even in a concrete jungle are spots with beauty to be seen.
My gallery shows some of the beauties captured on my phone camera.
See the new shoots coming!
little tiny violets
Like a smile, flowers never fail to brighten our day. Even in rain!
Hope I can brighten your day,
wishing you a wonderful Sunday!
