My strawberries this year grew absolutely beautiful.
They bloomed a lot:
We seem to have had enough rain
and then the sun came.
I had more strawberries than ever.
A collage out of my many harvests.
and then came out the
Strawberry bowl to eat them out of.
Oh how yummy they were.
There are still now some late comers, I eat straight of the plant.
What a joy, what great gift!
Recently I went for a Woodland Walk in my area.
A tranquil place where the council encourages wild flowers to grow.
I saw many beautiful flowers in all different colours.
How this earth really laughs in flowers.
just as Ralph Waldo Emerson says.
On a Monday we always need something happy and nice to start the new week.
I bring you some of my favourite colourful pictures to enjoy
and to make your world colourful!
The pictures can be found on my my Pinterest page.
In this dark and grey January
it is still possible to find
wonders of nature.
Encourage yourself to notice them.
Greet the sunshine and birdsong in the morning,
look at the cloud formation,
see some blooms, cheering up the world.
Nature is a healer in many ways.
Always look with fresh eyes,
bringing wonders to your surroundings.
The wonders of Nature are endless.

My strawberry plants, lovely and green.
What wonders did you find today ?
Still beautiful Autumn and the leaves are falling…
It feels great rustling through the leaves
like a child…..
My old Primary School from the back….
A lovely Ginkgo tree with blue sky,
just so beautiful!
Patience is a virtue,
as they say….
In the dictionary it says:
the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.
Many problems wouldn’t be problems,
many irate exchanges,
many road rage incidents,
could be avoided if people had more patience.
Be patient is sometimes very hard,
specially when we are excited.
This could be me……
Be always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your love by being tolerant with one another.
Hot tempers cause arguments, but patience brings peace.
Nature is patient
Adopt the pace of nature,
her secret is patience.
Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Have a peaceful and patient day!

You all know how I love my palm trees
so we had a short holiday in Spain near Barcelona.
We stayed in Calella in Catalonia.
A wonderful beach welcomed us and
just listening to the sound of the waves was so relaxing and calming.
Calella had wonderful plants,
a lovely church,
a light house
small streets with delightful shops
and amazing houses with cacti growing up… over 2 floors
We enjoyed the warmth and the beautiful beach.
and had a relaxing time.
A truly wonderful short holiday!
I really enjoyed Spring with its’ wonderful blossom
This post showed how beautiful Spring blossom was.
Now in August we can reap the fruits…
I harvested pears from a small tree
and made pear jam out of it.
That is only from the first kilo.
I shall do more in a minute.
Nature gives us so much to enjoy!
Make the most of it!

Spring is here – officially.
Look at this overloaded tree,
you can hardly see the branches.
I’ll leave you to admire nature.
Breathtaking, isn’t it?
Take your time and
soak it all in!
