It was time to say good bye to my Double Bass adventure.
It has been picked up again to travel back home.
What a great adventure and experience it was!
It is an amazing instrument and not that easy. It made me admire and respect the Bass players who so easily improvise.
I had such a great time learning it
I loved every minute of it.
I can only recommend,
if you want to try something you are passionate about...
go for it....
you might love it,
and you will always remember it.
Here are some Blues I learnt with ‘You Tube’ backing tracks:
To finish off a riff
Hope you enjoyed the odd Blues.
I have recorded more so I can always listen and remember the time with my Double Bass fondly.
A big THANK YOU to my sister who made this adventure possible.
Learn something new they say.
It is never too late to learn something new.
Since I was younger I was always fascinated by the Double Bass.
When I saw it in an orchestra or just in a small Jazz band I wanted to have a try myself on picking.
This dream has finally come true with the help of my sister.
I have a Double Bass on hire for a while at home and I am learning the notes and scales.
Learn something new.
Try something different.
Convince yourself that you have no limits.
What would you like to learn?
We all make mistakes in our lives.
Fear not, it is not all bad.
It is good to make mistakes, we are not perfect
we do learn from them:
Here some thoughts!
If we do not learn then it is a real mistake!
A person who never made a mistake, has never tried anything new.
Mistakes are portholes of discovery.
It’s not the mistake that matters;
it’s how you deal with it, what you learn from it,
and how you apply that lesson to your life.
This is my way!
Have an awesomely wonderful day !
