My plants

Standard

My blogger friends post ,made me look for my successes in my indoor plant world.

I used to kill many plants before either water them too much or not enough.

I seem to have learned a bit.  Now I am more successful.

I do love my indoor plants and enjoy seeing them grow.

See how this plant grew since January

and now:

My Plumeria indoors loves the window:

My little fig tree is adding more

and another ficus plant has grown more than 10 cm.

I am overjoyed with my greenery

and enjoy every single leaf.

Kew Garden at home

Standard

Kew Gardens is closed.

So I look around and

look:

I found my own ‘Kew’ Gardens right here:

When you enter you find beautiful colours and shapes:

Following through there is the palm garden with

3 different palm ‘trees’

Continuing the path you see different greens

Then we come to the Bonsai Trees Section, there is a Chestnut and a Maw Bonsai in the making.

And finally to the Alpine house, where we find this:

I hope you enjoyed the tour through Ute’s Kew.

Wishing you a blessed Easter weekend!

Keep the distance and stay healthy!

Shades of Green

Standard

Green is the colour of nature.

The colour of Mother Nature

The colour of Life and energy.

It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility.

Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety.

Dark green is also commonly associated with money.

…. just look at these different greens….

so many shades

and many different shapes and textures.

Green is relaxing for me, it feels warm, yet fresh.

However I do not have many outfits in green.

Do you love green?

What is your favourite colour?
