You all know how I love my palm trees
so we had a short holiday in Spain near Barcelona.
We stayed in Calella in Catalonia.
A wonderful beach welcomed us and
just listening to the sound of the waves was so relaxing and calming.
Calella had wonderful plants,
a lovely church,
a light house
small streets with delightful shops
and amazing houses with cacti growing up… over 2 floors
We enjoyed the warmth and the beautiful beach.
and had a relaxing time.
A truly wonderful short holiday!
I discovered another lovely green space in London.
A little oasis right in the middle
of the concrete jungle of the Barbican.
There is the second biggest conservatory in London
which is like a mini Kew Gardens with exotic plants,
like cacti, orchids, bamboo etc.
It is home to exotic fish and over 2,000 species of tropical plants.
It is open on Sundays to the public for free.
See for yourself what we found there:
A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in London.
