Another Year – 7th Blogiversary

Standard

My blog is 7 years old and I am sort of archiving my old posts

onto another wordpress site as I don’t really want to lose any.

(not sure though if that is really necessary)

I just cut and paste so I don’t need space for pictures on that.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Looking through old posts and bloggers who followed is nice but also makes me sad.

Some have gone to heaven, may they rest in peace, they are not forgotten.

Some have just stopped blogging for an unknown reason,

some closed their blog, it does not even exist at all,

some made their blog private.

I enjoy blogging very much,

it makes me happy,

and if I can reach even one person who likes a bit of my posts,

I am happy.

I don’t always have time to read all blog posts I like .

I have made amazing friends all over the world, met some of you

and I will try to meet more of you personally.

To all my blogging friends

a super BIG THANK YOU

You don’t know how much you mean to me.

You have enriched my world in those last 7 years,

you have made me laugh, cry, think.

I learnt from you, you inspired me, you supported me

and showed me what a wonderful world it is

with you in it.

There is so much love and kindness out there

and we need to spread it as much as possible.

People need love, hugs, appreciation, kindness, peace, praise,

understanding and self esteem.

Let’s keep it going.

I feel truly blessed with all of you around me.

Love you all!

Kitchen Capers and my Primula

Standard

Liz from Leaping life blog inspired me with her Kitchen Capers.

Liz made her own loaf of bread.

I was itching to make my own bread too.

Looking up James Morton on you tube

I found an easy recipe – a mug bread.

The result was fantastic,

and half the bread was gone within minutes.

Thank you Liz for your yummy post,

I will certainly do it for next weekend again

as we were all so impressed.

My Primula was very busy making more flowers.

Look at the difference from my last post here.

Standard

The year is going to an end

however quick it went.

All my friends close to my heart

even being far apart,

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart,

That you are still with me after all those years

Wishing you the very best with a big ‘Cheers’!

You mean so much to me!

Love you all!

Have a wonderful, amazing

New Year 2019!

May it bring Peace, good Health,

Joy, Happiness, lots of Love and Kindness

to everyone!

Quince jam

Standard

There were beautiful Quinces in the shop

perfect for wonderful tasting jam.

They were extremely hard to cut  – all worth it in the end.

The jam came out so good, tasting and smelling so yummy.

This is my favourite jam followed by Apricot jam.

Have you ever made it or tasted it?

Quince Jelly is amazing too.

Another Performance

Standard

It was time again for a new dance performance

Tap and Freestyle.

For Tap we did a Tango – routine to

‘Perhaps, perhaps,  perhaps’

followed by another routine to ‘my future husband’ – Megan Trainer.

I loved every bit.

This was the outfit!

For Freestyle we danced to ‘Shut up and dance’

we wore a lovely red skirt with petticoat, silver belt, white T-shirt and red scarf.

I did love the petticoat, it makes dancing even more fun!

We also did a great routine to Justin Timberlake – I got this feeling:

We had a fantastic time, so did the audience.

Broadway next…… ?????  🙂

Weekly Smile

Standard

Yay

Trent’s Weekly Smile is back!

I am smiling about my progress in crocheting.

I love this cardigan I saw on Yochet’s blog.

After a couple of hurdles, as all is American….

translating it into English/German stitch names and converting the sizes I finally started.

I am smiling today that it is nicely growing.

Well worth a smile

don’t you think?

Laughter

Standard

Laughter is the pole

that adds balance to our steps

as we walk the tightrope of life.

Laughter is the best medicine:

Why Laughing Is Good for Your Health. An old Yiddish proverb says, “What soap is to the bodylaughter is to the soul.”

A good laugh can be compared to a mild workout, as it exercises the muscles, gets the blood flowing, decreases blood pressure and stress hormones, improves sleep patterns and boosts the immune system.

so here is today’s dose for you:

Sleep with an open window tonight!

1400 mosquitoes like that.

420 mosquitoes commented on it.

210 mosquitoes shared this.

One mosquito invited for the event. 2800 mosquitoes will be attending the event.

Have a fun day and laugh a lot!
