More craft with shells

Standard

While sorting I find all different things.

Using some imagination I can make something new out of it.

I had a small tray which had once candles on it.

The candles are gone, the tray remained.

The wonderful shells, received from my sister from an exotic holiday, I had displayed on a plate.

My idea was to make a wall hanging out of it.

So I filled the tray with PVA glue,

arranged the shells as I liked, then carefully sprinkled sand in between.

Once this was dry, I glued the last shells on the top.

Now all dry and I have a new picture.

It will go nicely in the bathroom and gives this holiday feeling.

When you find odd bits and bobs why not

recycle and make something new out of it.

It is fun to create your own ideas.

Plan for the week

Standard

I think I’ll pace myself this week.

I’ll start by being quietly wonderful on Monday

fabulous on Tuesday

brilliant on Wednesday

awesome on Thursday and

then slowly build up to being magnificent by Friday!

Why not follow this example and have a great week ahead 🙂

Have a magnificent weekend!

“We’re unable to go out, so many of us go in.

Sleep, recharge, pray, meditate, journal.

Reflect on what’s important and what makes us truly happy.

To many, it’s a transition from survival to living.

During times of pain, we are invited to learn new ways of being—to do less and be more.

To reconnect with our true human nature.”

Beautifully Simple

Standard

The new year has started

and I try to make life simple, beautiful and happy.

Often we complicate life and it is not necessary.

Make it simple

enjoy the long hugs

the walks in the fresh air

the sunrise

the flowers along the road

sitting in peace

a chat with a friend

a smile for a stranger

feeling the breeze in your hair.

Have a beautifully simple Day!

Have a simply beautiful Day!

Best Cat Nap Places

Standard

Dear wonderful Reader,

Thomas here,

in between my naps a quick post.

I found new places for excellent cat naps.

First, a wonderful basket, I jumped in as soon it was empty.

Second , my mum’s drawer on her Computer desk.

I thought I better look up for a proper picture.

otherwise I just relax on the bin, the sun makes it warm.

All three really comfy places.

Try them out in your house, dear fellow feline friends.

Psst… don’t tell your owner you got the tips from me.

Have a purrfect nap on your favourite place.

…a day for laughter

Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in the future?
Candidate: I think I will still be using mirrors in the future.

A group at a MENSA (IQ 150+) meeting were having lunch at a local restaurant when one noticed that the salt shaker was filled with pepper and the pepper shaker was filled with salt.

After a lengthy discussion they determined that they could swap the contents to match the correct shakers. All they needed was a straw and an empty saucer.

They called over their waitress (IQ much less than 150) and pointed out their concerns. Without hesitation she switched the lids, said “problem solved”, and walked away from the now shocked and silenced Mensa table.

Have a fun day with lots of laughter!
