A just finished a jigsaw of the most beautiful Waterfall
in Iceland – Seljalandsfoss
This is one of few places in the world where
it’s possible to walk behind a waterfall;
and we did exactly that when we visited in 2015.
It was amazing and I remember it very well.

Food for thought
Take pride in how far you have come. And have faith in how far you can go!
Here is my post from 2015.
Look so pretty and how fun to be able to walk behind it!
Thanks, it is quite special to do that, seeing the water from behind thundering down.
I clicked back to your 2015 post and there I was — fluttering right behind you. 😉
figuratively that is.
You can always flutter right behind me, thanks for doing that. 🙂
It must have been fun to do the jigsaw and be reminded of that beautiful journey throughout the entire process, Ute. Thank you for sharing the picture – which, to me, is an image of an image of an image – combining three different kinds of pictures. 💗
It was great fun and a challenge as I didn’t have the box of it. It took me a bit longer but it was worth all the effort. Having been there was the driving force. 🙂 An image of an image of an image is well said. 🙂
That’s so beautiful, Ute. It looks like quite a challenge, so we’ll done. I have walked behind a lovely waterfall in North Carolina and although I didn’t do it when we were there, I believe one can walk behind Niagara Falls. That must be really something.
Oh I can imagine the Niagara dalls from behind, and rather wet too. It was a challenge as the person who gave it to me had no box nor picture of hte puzzle, so I had to find that puzzle on Google which gave me some idea of the picture. It was a great challenge.
Magical experience and a lovely jigsaw. I like to words at the end too – just perfect for Mr S! 🙂
Indeed it was. All the best for Mr S continued road to recovery! ♥ Yes hte words were right for him. ♥
Very nice! I enjoy a jigsaw puzzles, too. To have visited there, makes it even more special for you.
Exactly, that made me want to do the puzzle. I had no box with picture to go on with.It was a challenge as the person who gave it to me had no box nor picture of hte puzzle, so I had to find that puzzle on Google which gave me some idea of the picture. It was fun!
That is one amazing waterfall and wonderful to have a visual through the puzzle. Enjoyed your food for thought too!
Thank you very much for you lovely comment. It was great fun for me.♥
I would love to see the ‘backside of the water’. 🙂
It is something different! We need to go there together! 🙂
Wouldn’t that be lovely !
♥
Bless your patience with the puzzle, Ute. It’s a beautiful puzzle and what a great adventure to walk behind the waterfalls😸Pawkisses for a wonderful day for you and Thomas too🐾😽💞
Thank you, you can see why I love your puzzles so much 🙂
It is beautiful! want to go!!
Do you hang up the puzzle after you are done?
Blessings to you! ♥
I don’t usually hang them, I give them to the charity shop. This one though is special to me, so I have just glued it together and I will be hanging it up. ♥
What a great idea, to do them and donate! That came out beautiful and it holds memories, I can see it is definitely a keeper!!
It surely is! ♥
Would love to visit Iceland, it looks so beautiful and I would definitely want to walk behind that waterfall!
