The Magic Box

I will put in my box

Four lovely summers
A mouth watering chocolate land
Another world which is amazing

I will put in my box

A second sun which doesn't give out light
An ocean which has five wishes for every person
Water that dances when someone goes in it

I will put in my box

The sweet sound of the swooshing sea
A snowman that can survive in Summer
Someplace where the rain never falls

I will put in my box

A place where the rain always stays
A non polluted world
A never ending rain forest

My box is fashioned from gold and has a secret under the lid and under the inside floor

I shall surf in my box

On the lovely ocean and see it dance in front of me and catch some fish for dinner.

I found this poem in the attic while sorting out.

It was written by my son when he was 9 years old.

    • I believe my mum is watching, and we played today her favourite card game. She would have loved to join. Please do join the box, interesting things in it! 🙂

  3. We love the charm of the naivety of this poem. Your son has a feeling for language, dear Ute.
