The Magic Box
I will put in my box Four lovely summers A mouth watering chocolate land Another world which is amazing I will put in my box A second sun which doesn't give out light An ocean which has five wishes for every person Water that dances when someone goes in it I will put in my box The sweet sound of the swooshing sea A snowman that can survive in Summer Someplace where the rain never falls I will put in my box A place where the rain always stays A non polluted world A never ending rain forest My box is fashioned from gold and has a secret under the lid and under the inside floor I shall surf in my box On the lovely ocean and see it dance in front of me and catch some fish for dinner.
I found this poem in the attic while sorting out.
It was written by my son when he was 9 years old.
I’d like to order 5 of those boxes. Please!
Keep sorting! What a wonderful find!
Oh, yes I like those boxes too :-). …And yes I will keep sorting, who knows what else I find! It is such fun!
