Kew Gardens 12th Smile

It has been a long time since visiting Kew Gardens.

Yesterday I visited it again during the day with glorious sunshine,

as it is open for the grounds only.

Everything is starting to bud and grow.

The Monkey Puzzle tree is among the top ten species in need of conservation.

It is such a beautiful tree.

Kew Gardens never disappoints, a true oasis.

We had such a wonderful time walking the grounds.

Enjoy nature and smile with your whole being.

  1. Thank you for sharing this oasis Ute! What a blessing to have such a beautiful place to visit! Nature is great therapy for our souls! Flowers always make me smile because I see the beauty of God’s creation!

A question … how did you do the last image which looks like a photo on a table because of the edges and shadows?

    • I love my Kew Gardens Carmen, a real oasis for me. That last picture I did some time ago I think woth Microsoft Word. You can format it, add borders, tilt it, have different frames, add shadows etc. I played around with it a bit and added the words.
It its fun doing that, I have to do that with the new editor as there are some nice features there too, like rounded corners for example.
Wishing you a great week Carmen, much love from Ute xx

  2. Dear Ute,
thank you very much for sharing those beautiful pictures. It’s years ago since we visited Kew. Typically for us, we got several well written books about Kew and its history.
Wishing you a great weekend. We have it sunny here in Norfolk but with a chilly wind.
    With love from us all

    • Dear Klaus, I love my Kew Gardens and it is just starting to get really beautiful with many more blooms. Luckily it is so large so it is open for great walks. We do love the sun here too, it is so needed. 🙂 Much love Ute

      • Dear Ute,
when everything is fine again we are planning an excursion to London for several days. Kew is number one we want to visit.
Actually, we have too much sun here. We need rain desperately. We can’t remember when it rained last time.
        Wishing you a wonderful week

      • Good plan! Yes we had sun for quite a while now and we need to start watering. however the waterbutt is full to the brim so that is ok. 🙂

  3. Wonderful. I was never to Kew Gardens, but when I do, I’ll probably go. It should be fun to go on trips without job pressures, just how you want it.

Love to hear from you......
