Kew Gardens 10th Smile

Standard

Kew – Indonesian Orchid Festival …

by night.

As last year Kew Gardens had Orchid Festival.

This time all Orchids come from Indonesia.

New this year was for me :

I got a slot for Orchids by night.

A different experience which was fantastic.

Not only I see all Orchids

submersed in different lights

also there were Indonesian dancers, music,

food tasters (we had a great Indonesian soup and Ginger Tea)

and a wonderful atmosphere.

Enjoy some of the pictures I took.

Click on the pictures to enlarge them.

A great visit

I will I go by day again soon.

All photos taken by me at Kew Gardens.

  1. Oh, that looks amazing, just wonderful! Plants, food, dancing and music! Kew do some brilliant ‘specials’. We were there a few years ago for lights at night before Christmas and that was lovely too. 🙂

    • Yes , they do some brilliant stuff. I did go for Christmas again and forgot to post it and then it was well in January. I love the Christmas light evenings.

  2. Oh, we love this, Ute and Thomas. A few of Granny’s best furriends were from Indonesia and one of their daughters danced this beautiful dance. I can imagine that you enjoyed it bunches😸Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday🐾😽💞
