Our Sunday
as you might have heard in the news
was extremely stormy as Ciara swept through.
There was so much rain with it,
hitting the windows.
The garden needs a good tidy up now,
as ornaments fell off,
some pots tipped, some broken,
the bench cover flew off,
I managed to get it in time to take inside.
The cat didn’t even attempt to go out.
Once the rain and storm dies down I shall rescue everything.
Still the small little flowers braved it all and stand proudly in the pot.
You have to stand firm,
Like a mountain…
If you want to achieve,

I think our garden will need some tlc too after the battering it has been getting – and still is! 🙂
I believe so too, it is still rather windy now too- this morning.
I love wind but oh my how the wind can wreak havoc.
I don’t really like wind, and I hope in all of Britain, the damage is not too bad.
I hope not as well. I have been in windy environments and really enjoyed it (islands come to mind, and mountain tops).
Oh yes near the coast it is always windy and mountains as expected, I am fine with that… just not in town.. 🙂

Yes, it doesn’t feel so free like when you stand up a mountain and it goes round you!
Bei uns ist der Sturm inzwischen auch angekommen, aber die Schäden halten sich hier auf der Alb in Grenzen.
Ja meine Schwester hat es nun auch! Hier ist es immer noch winding und regnet viel.
