Wow, what a great sentiment “Life is never as bad as it looks” if only that were true today. Life looks bad and it looks as though it is going to get worse before it ever gets better.
Life is what you make of it, it is not bad, it might be just different. You can always find things in your life which make you happy , and or you are grateful for. Count your blessings! Thank you for your input and I wish you a wonderful Day!
You too, and I know what you are trying to say but it is difficult to remember to count your blessings when your day is full of doom and everywhere there are people dying and killing each other. Why can’t everyone just accept others for the way they are instead of trying to make things unbearable for the many?
I know what you are saying, but the start is with yourself and your own community spread love and kindness, even a small start is good and it spreads. The more people are doing it the better. There are amazing good things out there and we need to celebrate that.
Hello Ute.
When I was working, among other things, as an IT trainer, our teacher knew that it is not always easy in man’s life and due to this reason he gave us a task to self-praise ourselves in a closed letter and open it when feeling that nothing goes well and you bad and failed person. Unfortunately, my letter has disappeared, but my self-esteem is still good. 🙂
That sure was an encouraging letter, Ute. Granny does write a lot too to uplift herself and it helps. Bye bye ego, welcome heart😸Pawkisses for a Wonderful Day🐾😽💞
What a great idea. I have another suggestion – I am in my early 70’s so it might be interesting to write a letter to yourself at some earlier stage of your life – maybe your darkest hour – and what you have learned or felt since. Thanks again for a very inspiring blog !
Thank you very much for your great comment. Glad I can inspire you. That is a great idea too, as we certainly learn much in life through some situations/ hard times we go through. This is the beauty of getting older, we have so much more behind us and have learnt a great deal. And still we keep learning and adding to our wisdom. I am very happy you enjoy my blog and that you are part of my wonderful blog community. ♥
