My Avocado plant, which was outside over Summer
somehow broke in the wind.
I took it inside now as it gets colder.
Suddenly I found a new shoot coming of the broken stem.
Hurray ! How wonderful to keep fighting and growing.
This made me smile and happy.
This is my smile for Trent’s Weekly smile.
I love that you grow the avocado. You definitely should come to The Holler, and pick the avocados, grapefruit and pomegranates that produce in our orchard and feed the birds.
Cindy I would love it. These avocados were bought and I just grew it from the stone inside. Thanks ♥
That’s the way I feel when I succeed in keeping a plant going, they bring out my maternal instinct.
It does, doesn’t it. It is so wonderful to see things growing, like your own children. 🙂
Celebrating new growth….how beautiful 🙂
It is fantastic, 😊 thank you
What a save ! Well done dear Ute ! 🙂 ❤
Thanks Ralph. Made me happy 😊
das ist ja Klasse, liebe Ute, wünsche einen schönen Tag, Klaus
Danke 😊 😊 😊
I’ve seen people grow avocado plants from the stone before, but usually the “experiment” doesn’t last long before something happens to the poor plant. Glad yours is healthy enough to sprout new shoot! Something about life overcoming that does make me smile 🙂
Glad you smile with me 😊
von mir zu dir kommen herzliche Grüße, genieße den Rest der Woche.
♥
hab ein gutes Wochenende.
Ebenfalls!
genieße das Wochenende mit viel Spaß und Entspannung.
Will do! 🙂
You obviously have green fingers, Ute. Happy weekend to you and your avocado plant. 🙂 xx
Thank you, I never thought I had green fingers, just some plants seem do do well in my house. It is growing nicely and I love it!

Plants can teach us so much about life.
I agree, they grow even in terrible conditions, they go through thick and thin and never give up…. we are never so resilient! Thank you so much for visiting and commenting!
Oh wow!. You have green fingers to get that growing.
Thanks Colline!
