Finally August and for most it is holiday time.
For me it also means time do to things around the house.
Here an update:
My wooden kitchen worktop needed a little tender loving care.
So I started to sand it down.
Now nice and smooth, I can varnish it.
Another day I made bracelets. .
I love making jewellery, make presents or sell some at markets occasionally.
I made all these with different seed beads.
I have in my garden an ‘elephant ear’ plant, it grows amazingly big.
i love all of your beautiful and creative projects –
Thank you Ann, they are fun to do!
Lovely bracelets. And I am sure you are going to have the best of times at Kew Gardens. 🙂 Enjoy your holidays.
Thank you, I am sure I will. Every season there will be something… and in Winter I can go into the tropical house to warm up. 🙂
An excellent plan for winter. I used to go to the hot house in the Christchurch gardens when I was homesick for Fiji.
Your table looks beautiful. Your plants look so healthy. The elephant plant is one I hope to own some day. Have a fun holiday
You are becoming a real Handy Andy with a dash of Charlie Dimmock thrown in, aren’t you dear Ute ? 😉 ❤
Oh yes but it is hard work… really hard work. Charlie at least got paid for it too…. well it is my house though… Hehe
Your home must be really lovely by now dear Ute 🙂 ❤
It is getting there. Still more improves needed
Hi Ute
You are very crafty and talented! You also have a green thumb! I love your plants.
Your garden looks so inviting.
Blessings! 🙂
Thank you, I love my garden.😊
Kew Gardens is the one thing I miss about living in London – we used to visit almost every weekend. Thank you for providing me with a ‘Kew-Fix’ – I look forward to lots more pictures! x
Brilliant, I shall show you some beauties!
Ute I love your garden! Your plants look so fresh, you’re doing such a fabulous job. I didn’t know you make jewellery, they’re lovely 🙂 It’s a shame, I haven’t been to Kew Garden and I’ve lived in London for a 100 years! And I love flowers too… oh well, I will find my way there before this holiday is over…
Thank you Seyi for your lovely comment. You need to go to Kew, yes, and you can us th Overground train even, it’s nicer. 😊 go for it !
You are so handy Ute! And very creative! Love the elephant ear plant, looks so lush and tropical! I’m looking forward to more photos of the botanical gardens. 🙂
