Weekly inspiration No 48 – December Positive Preparations

Standard

We are entering December,

Christmas season.

It is a wonderful time

Even though it is colder and darker;

if you are prepared for it and get to it with a positive outlook

it will be an awesome December.

Some ideas for a warm and happy December:

(if your December cold too.)

Get candles, scented or not, they give a warm peaceful feeling,

Wear woolly jumpers, they make you feel so cosy,

experiment with soups and stews, perfect for cold days,

have fun with making handmade crafts,

prepare for Christmas with selfmade cards or maybe knitted gifts

Make some cookies

invite friends to share a hot cup of cocoa and a chat.

Wishing you all a very wonderful December!

  1. We’re ready to start our happy December here in Hamburg. The Advent’s Calendar is up, decorations are at the ready putting around the flat and meal preparations continue. Thanks for the good advice and happy thoughts, Ute — Kim & Steffi

  2. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I love decorating for Christmas! 🎄 The lights and decorations brighten up the dark, cold nights. Candles are great for those of us (like me) who don’t have a fireplace. 🙂

    • Absolutely, I love candles and as you say they make the room feel warm and give atmosphere. It has it’s own beauty , even if it is cold, it is so enjoyable. I have done my tree now too and I am pleased with it, with lots of German wooden decorations on it. Need to take some pictures to show you soon. Keep warm Carmen ♥
