I have recently found a fantastic free App for my Smart phone
called Insight Timer.
It gives you the choice of guided meditations
or timed meditations.
On the featured meditations
there are some for stress,
mindfulness,
gratitude,
body scans,
sleep
and many more.
I have done some sleep ones too and they are just amazing.
You have a profile and collect stars for consecutive days of meditation.
With this App , I am eager to meditate every day,
whereas before I wanted to but didn’t always get around to it.
I always find time to do it now.
I meditate every day. Helps focus. Helps to rid anxiety. Helps me sleep. I generally feel so much calmer and “in tune.” And it’s easier to smile 🙂

Why is it that the things which do us the most good seem to be the hardest to do? I know logically that I should meditate every day, but never quite manage it. Thanks so much for the tip re the app, and this important reminder overall – I’m off to find a quiet seat now….! 🙂

I am glad to hear that. Sometimes I meditate but my mum thinks I am sleeping…… I love meditating on her lap! 🙂 Nothing better than a cat nap meditation! 🙂
I use my tarot cards for meditation, but my physiotherapist has said that I need to meditate more so I may look into getting this app. Thanks Ute.
