Time flies and it is already weekend again… hurray!
We went to the Tower of London the other night to see the Ceremony of the keys which is being performed since 700 years every single day and it is open to the public to witness it. The waiting list is long and we waited 3 month for our turn. One is not allowed to take pictures. I did take some while waiting outside the gate to be let in!
It is so much fun to discover more and more of my wonderful London. So come with me.
It was very interesting and we enjoyed a pleasant and fun chat with the guide/ high ranking soldier afterwards who told us more interesting facts around the tower.
Wishing all a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

Your patience was rewarded. I see on the link you gave that there are no tickets available till August 2015!
Wow that is even longer than I waited. Yes those tickets are sought after! Glad I have been part of it once!
Yes, something not to be missed, if possible.
It is well worth it!
What a pity people weren’t allowed to take photos, but these are just as great Ute. Thanks for sharing hon. 😀 ♥
The security is very high and as t is the Queen- no photos. Same in Buckingham Palace! Never mind, I took photos with my mind… it’s in there as memories! 🙂
I am sure it is but I am glad you have them as memories. That is the most important. 😀 ♥
Oh well…on not being able to take photos.
