Time flies and it is already weekend again… hurray!
We went to the Tower of London the other night to see the Ceremony of the keys which is being performed since 700 years every single day and it is open to the public to witness it. The waiting list is long and we waited 3 month for our turn. One is not allowed to take pictures. I did take some while waiting outside the gate to be let in!
It is so much fun to discover more and more of my wonderful London. So come with me.
London by night along the Thames
King George VI
It was very interesting and we enjoyed a pleasant and fun chat with the guide/ high ranking soldier afterwards who told us more interesting facts around the tower.
Wishing all a wonderful and relaxing weekend!
just saying I am still around.. still doing the bathroom and working hard all round.
But hey, saw this on facebook the other day.. so sweet!
So wishing you all a good night my friends!
It’s coming on….
more things I am very grateful for:
A working sink
a working bath and shower
and my luxury flushing toilet…. notice… no bucket 🙂
Still more to do in that new bathroom until it is really finished, then I will give you a tour.
And here a valuable tip , taken from a funny garment label:
…always wash your butt…
…Keep away from fire especially when wearing….
There you go
and now…..back to work….
Sending you all love and hugs!
‘Wouldn’t it be great if we don’t even take simple things in life for granted.
Like having clean water when we open the tap…’
This is what my son said yesterday.
It comes after we lived for two weeks without a flushing toilet….just a bucket of water next to it.
Now again we have the luxury of pressing the convenient button to flush it again… yes pure luxury!
before and now
The bathroom is not finished yet though….
Practicing gratefulness makes life much more amazing and full of miracles.
What are you thankful for today ?
What is your miracle for today?
Wishing you all a happy and safe Sunday!
