Random things I wanted to share…

Standard

I took some pictures and I wanted to share it with you

This is the Atheneaum Hotel in Piccadilly where I used to work 21 years ago. I stopped there when I got pregnant with my first son.  It was already then a very prestigious hotel owned by Rank, the film company and Harrison Ford (I only saw his bill though) stayed so did other famous people.

It has one corner planted along the wall, and it looks fabulous. It has exotic plants and all different greenery, some with flowers even. They even have bird cages in between. This is an amazing idea in the middles of a busy city.

Across to Green Park you see theses beautiful flower baskets on the lamp posts…

…and this is the view outside my house!

A beautiful spider made his web there.

Take care and enjoy the time leading to Christmas!

  1. I enjoyed your random shares, Ute. That living wall is so gorgeous, and the flower basket with the huge spider web is wonderful. There is so much beauty all around us if we take the time to actually see it. 🙂 have a wonderful Christmas. xx

  2. LOVE your random photos!! Spiders are so amazing the way they spin their webs, yet never get caught in them! Clever little fellows! 😉

    Merry Christmas my dear Ute!!

  3. Hi Ute 😀 Your random photos are great and a little bit about your life is so interesting. I hope that you have a fun time over Christmas and the New Year. Hugs. Ralph xox ❤

  4. How beautiful are these! We have a wall with different plants like that in our city. It’s outside the parking lot and it looks fantastic! Our doesn’t have the bird cages and flowers though. And we also have lamp posts with flower pots. They do not bloom as beautifully as yours at this time of the year, but are still pretty cool. I think that our city government probably visited London a lot, hence the inspiration. And the spider web looks amazing with the raindrops. Who would think that something usually thought as unpleasant, can be so beautiful!

Happy holidays, Ute, and thanks for sharing this beauty with us! 🙂 ❤

Love to hear from you......
