Prayer the most powerful medium.

Paint,

well I can’t paint to save my life, but I started on my stairs.

Remember I liked those stairs so much and decided to try it on mine.

I have done the first 2 so far….. different but rather colourful.

Thomas is a bit suspicious….

I was thinking of writing:

“Happiness comes from within!”

Play an instrument.

It is so wonderful to play an instrument and even if you don’t – singing feels as good as an instrument.

I learnt the piano and tought myself the guitar.

My dream is to try out the Cello, a beautiful sounding instrument or the double base.

… to be continued ….

Wishing you  an positive and precious day!

  1. It is so cool that you are painting your stairs that way. Can’t wait to see the finale! 🙂
I don’t play an instrument. But – I do play music & sing along (badly). Does that count?
    {Hugs}

    • Of course RoSy, singing is freedom too and enjoyable, it does not matter how bad or good it is, as long as you feel happy doing it – it is perfect.
The stairs will be a long process…there are so many… but it will be great and worht it. (My boys think I am crazy) 🙂

  2. Hi Ute 😀 Your stairs look great. I am so pleased that you have finally done it and got started. If you get a cello, carrying it around on a London bus or the Tube will make a great photo post 😉 hehe Hugs. Ralph xox 😀

  3. Positively perfect post.

I love what you have done with the stairs. They are great 🙂 I can’t wait to see the finished product.

I used to play the cornet and fugelhorn 🙂 I can also play three notes on a piano and two on a guitar hehe

    • You are funny, 2 and 3 notes are better than non, hehe. Thanks, I wonder what the stairs will be like when they are finished… I guess we will all be surprised. So far no visitor has commented, but it shows people do not look at details. Once I have 5 stairs done they might notice.

      • I think it will look very good 🙂 I’ll come round and take a look when you have finished 😉 I was in the band in The Salvation Army when I was a low teen. I imagine that the sounds were really cacophonous lol I was in the Junior Choir as well. My parents wanted us all in them to keep us out of the house for longer on a Sunday. Not bad for someone who is tone deaf and has the singing ability of Quasimodo on razor blades

  4. Easy Peasy. I’ll just pick up that instrument, and voila, I’ll sound like that! I love your stairs. I think you are very artistic. You dance, now you paint and play. You’re amazing, my friend. 🙂 Lots of love. Marsha (and Manny) xxx (ooo) xxx

  5. Love this post Ute!

Praying is on my list–even when nobody else wants to listen to me, God is there: any hour, with any concern!!

Your stairs are starting out lively and colourful, can’t wait to see them finished! We’re working on painting our laundry room (does that count as painting? Or is it only the artistic type?).

I don’t think I’m as talented as you are, but I do enjoy playing the tambourine and singing.

  6. Pray. ❤ I paint, too. Not anything as pretty as the stairs, though. And I've yet to play an instrument, though I do remember how to play a lullaby on my recorder from 1st grade, which is pretty soothing so I guess it can amount to spreading happiness. 🙂
