The ABC of Genuine Happiness
P – Pray. Paint. Play an instrument.
Prayer the most powerful medium.
God had WIFI from day one, wireless connection which never goes down, He is always here to listen to us.
♥♥♥
Paint,
well I can’t paint to save my life, but I started on my stairs.
Remember I liked those stairs so much and decided to try it on mine.
I have done the first 2 so far….. different but rather colourful.
Thomas is a bit suspicious….
I was thinking of writing:
“Happiness comes from within!”
Play an instrument.
It is so wonderful to play an instrument and even if you don’t – singing feels as good as an instrument.
I learnt the piano and tought myself the guitar.
My dream is to try out the Cello, a beautiful sounding instrument or the double base.

I look forward to seeing/hearing you play a musical instrument, Ute. Nice stairs.
Russ
Haha, I am not good at it… (I missed that bit out)…. but for myself it is enjoyable.:-)
Thanks Russ
I love the stairs and what you are doing, the reference to music would be my choice!
Thanks so much Len, your comment makes me very happy! Big hug!
I love this!!! You are so creative!!! It was sooooo great talking to you before even though it was brief. Cannot wait to do it again. Big hugs..much love!
Yes sorry Skye it was short as my carpenter came to look at a door I need to replace. Love to talk to
you again and tell you more! Thanks so much!
Much love Ute
Super uplifting my friend!!!!
Great! Thanks
Really like the stairs art.
🙂
It is so cool that you are painting your stairs that way. Can’t wait to see the finale! 🙂
I don’t play an instrument. But – I do play music & sing along (badly). Does that count?
{Hugs}
Of course RoSy, singing is freedom too and enjoyable, it does not matter how bad or good it is, as long as you feel happy doing it – it is perfect.
The stairs will be a long process…there are so many… but it will be great and worht it. (My boys think I am crazy) 🙂
Hi Ute 😀 Your stairs look great. I am so pleased that you have finally done it and got started. If you get a cello, carrying it around on a London bus or the Tube will make a great photo post 😉 hehe Hugs. Ralph xox 😀
Haha I only want to have a go at it not buy one and carry it…., thanks I love the stairs too!
Shame !! That would make a great candid camera post. I hope your wish comes true one day 😀
Positively perfect post.
I love what you have done with the stairs. They are great 🙂 I can’t wait to see the finished product.
I used to play the cornet and fugelhorn 🙂 I can also play three notes on a piano and two on a guitar hehe
You are funny, 2 and 3 notes are better than non, hehe. Thanks, I wonder what the stairs will be like when they are finished… I guess we will all be surprised. So far no visitor has commented, but it shows people do not look at details. Once I have 5 stairs done they might notice.
I think it will look very good 🙂 I’ll come round and take a look when you have finished 😉 I was in the band in The Salvation Army when I was a low teen. I imagine that the sounds were really cacophonous lol I was in the Junior Choir as well. My parents wanted us all in them to keep us out of the house for longer on a Sunday. Not bad for someone who is tone deaf and has the singing ability of Quasimodo on razor blades
I love yellow Ute! (it’s like having constant sunshine in doors) and I LOVE your stairs – awesome!
Diana xo
I do like bright colours too , it makes me happy and yes does cheer the place up. Thanks for letting me know about my stairs. I shall continue….
Hey that guy can play the base… lovely share Ute…
I know, I love it! Thanks!
Easy Peasy. I’ll just pick up that instrument, and voila, I’ll sound like that! I love your stairs. I think you are very artistic. You dance, now you paint and play. You’re amazing, my friend. 🙂 Lots of love. Marsha (and Manny) xxx (ooo) xxx
Thanks Marsha and Manny… well my hidden talents… hehe
You are the best! 🙂
Love the stairs, Ute!
Thanks so much Lori!
Your paintings on the stairs are wonderful. They would make me smile every time I saw them; and dance as well, probably.
Dancing up the stairs, that is a new one. Like it!
Probably not wise from a safety point of view but definitely fun!
Another inspiring post Ute, and I love your stairs! 🙂
Thanks so much, wait until they are finished. 🙂
Please post when they are complete! 🙂
Will do … 🙂
Lovely post Ute, and I adore your stairs! 🙂
Thanks, many more to do! 🙂
Love those stairs Ute! Thanks for sharing this lovely and inspirational post hon. 😀 *big hugs*
Thanks very much Sophia ! many hugs back!
Love this post Ute!
Praying is on my list–even when nobody else wants to listen to me, God is there: any hour, with any concern!!
Your stairs are starting out lively and colourful, can’t wait to see them finished! We’re working on painting our laundry room (does that count as painting? Or is it only the artistic type?).
I don’t think I’m as talented as you are, but I do enjoy playing the tambourine and singing.
♥ carmen
Thanks Carmen… you know I would even count dancing in as “playing an instrument” as you can improvise there too and feel great. 🙂
I agree, with dance, the instrument is our body!! 🙂
stair thee well…:)
🙂
Love the stairs idea, Ute- it’s fabulous! But my husband would kill me 🙂 How dangerously do I want to live?
… that is why I don’t have a husband….. hehe, my boys think I am strange though…. Oh never mind.. I enjoy it! 🙂
Pray. ❤ I paint, too. Not anything as pretty as the stairs, though. And I've yet to play an instrument, though I do remember how to play a lullaby on my recorder from 1st grade, which is pretty soothing so I guess it can amount to spreading happiness. 🙂
Yes!
