Lovely to know you have lit your first Advent candle. I may do so later when it is dark. London is looking sparkly and beautifully dressed for the Christmas season.
The colour seems to be blue for the Southbank though. I will explore more soon in London. 🙂
I admire your night photos though. Were they taken with your phone?
Yes they were, not so great but ok I think. My real digital camera is worse quality than my phone. There were many people with cameras on tripods capturing good pictures – they are probably perfect!
I will go in again soon and see more lights and enjoy the atmosphere.
I think they are really good. I struggle to take a decent night photo with my small camera.
Londen is beautiful, we haven’t been there yet, but we will. The 1st Advent reminds me of my childhood “Advent, Advent, ein Lichtlein brennt, erst eins, dann zwei, dann drei, dann vier, dann steht das Christkind vor der Tür.” Pawkisses for a Happy 1st Advent 🙂
I remember that verse too! My mum always made lovely arrangements and we sang Christmas songs with the canlde lit in the evening wiht her on the piano. Lovely memories!
