Yesterday I went to a sports shop with my son to get him some sports trousers. As he always has everything in his pockets he loves zips on them.
Could we find any trousers with zipped pockets? No!
We were told that because of health and safety the manufacturer does not do zips anymore on pockets as they can injure.
Over the top I think.
But I reacted straight away to make sure my son is protected……
I bubble wrapped him, nothing can happen any more. He is safe from the dangers of this world!
So I feel safe, he is safe and he seems to enjoy it too!

Ummm, I would have thought zips in jeans would pose more of a “danger” to boys than in their pockets? I seem to recall a boy cousin of mine, as a child who got a very delicate part of himself caught in a zip….
I can imagine the pain… 🙂 poor thing!
