The precious heart

Standard

Recently I joined a gym and I am exercising a bit more than before to keep fit.

I got my self a heart rate monitor to see my pulse easier while training. I was totally amazed what my heart does, in harmony with what my body does.  As soon as I relax it relaxes and the heart rate goes down. Carrying heavy shopping it adjusts to more pumping due to me needing more oxygen. My son explained it to me scientifically, I shall not go into that.

I do need to say that I have such admiration and respect for my heart and I will always treat it the best way I can. Our body is such a mysterious and complicated mechanism, it is awesome how God has constructed it.

Wow

The heart

an amazing part of your body

it keeps you alive,

it speaks to you,

it overrules the brain sometimes,

it shows love!

a blue heart

This is a stone my son found on a Scottish beach and he gave it to me! A treasure!

a black heart

Treat your body with respect!

Have a fabulous day!

  1. Love this Ute~You knew I would be real happy to hear you joined a gym. Proud of you! I love going to the gym and it is so good for our hearts. Have a great weekend. hugs, Renee 🙂

  2. What precious words and who would have thought a heart monitor would give such wisdom to you. OR you find such wisdom in a heart monitor. When I think about it though, we can find wisdom in anything or anywhere if we are looking for it. Or if God chooses to wack us over the head with it. LOL. Enjoy your mothers day.

    • You are right, every situation gives us more wisdom and we learn. … and of course God wacking us, that is when we really wake up to life….. and we need it sometimes. Thank you for your lovely comment, love having you around, you are precious. Have a wonderful day!

  3. The first thing that came to mind when I read the word “heart” was “Oh no! My first aid CPR test!” I kept killing my mannequin during practice sessions!

    • Haha, I id my CPR too on it…. but mine came back alive…. only kidding…. 🙂 It is funny to do it on a plastic doll, ours was called Annie. Well I won’t let you do CPR on me then….. 🙂 Keep practicing!

  4. I can’t believe your son found that stone – I’ve been looking for a stone like that for years!
    Well Done!
(I did buy a cactus in the shape of a heart)!

  5. Wow, I love that Scottish heart stone. What a gift. They say the heart might even have a memory now. I say we think from the heart, not from the brain. {{{hugs]}} Kozo

    • Well Kozo they talk of muscle memory, the heart is a muscle. I believe for what we use our heart and share the love it has a memeory, a good one! 🙂 Thanks so much Kozo!
