Everyone is longing for spring and it must be round the corner……
This is the market place in Germany in my hometown, a truly colourful spring display
Even though every morning ( the last 4 days) was cold, dull and grey – this beauty lifts the spirits.
Enjoy life,
count your blessings,
find happiness in little things,
give love,
be generous with hugs!
Wishing you all a wonderful weeekend!
Beautiful display!! Oh how I long for Spring , we get a few days of warmth and trees start to bud , green shoots are springing up then the temperature drops. sure wish Mother Nature would take her meds, get over her mad, quit throwing a temper tantrum or something! LOL
Len, so true, we didn’t even have some warm days yet, nothing on the trees sprouting…. and snowing last wednesday in London. We will be soooo excited when it does happen, don’t you think?
AMEN!! I do believe more of us are compalining at how tired of winter we are as it seems to be long and drawn out, but if we just keep praying and thinking JOY our hearts have to obey then we won’t mind so much:)
You are right Len, what we have in our heart, is not weather dependent, keep the joy and love coming! Big hug for you!
Don’t take life too seriously – nobody gets out alive anyway. π
Temperature here has finally reached 5Β°C / 41Β°F. Warmest day of the month so far I think
Really 5????? I have put the heating on, I was cold still.
When will it be really warm and I mean just 10 or more degrees, I don’t even want 20 anymore….. I am not greedy. Just not having cold hands and feet all the time! … π
I know it’s awful. This month we are usually warned not to put the warm coats away you may need them. Not “Don’t get out your summer clothes for a couple of years yet”
Oh no….. π¦
Looks like some pansies there. I love pansies.
Yes they are, and I love them too as they come in such vibrant colours!
Love it Ute! What a lovely lift to see this beautiful post! Thank you! π
Thanks very much Cathie, it did lift my spirits.. π
Really lovely Ute!
Thanks so much Sheri, wishing you a lovely weekeknd!
Beautiful!! Happy weekend!!!
Thank you, wishing you a great weekend too! π
Although she’s not fully here – every little glimpse livens the spirit & gives us hope!
Thanks for sharing a glimpse of spring π
That is exactly how I felt and I had to share it! Thanks RoSy, have a great weekend!
what a fantastic photo! It does brighten my day. It is fifty and very windy with clouds here
Glad i could bring a bit of colour into your cloudy day! Hope your day tomorrow will be bright too even not weather wise but heart wise! π
I’ll have two trays of primulas please and ……. ummmm ……… a hug π Ralph xox
That’ll be 2 Euros for the primulas and a hug for free! π
Ah! Um! 2 euros eh! *shaking moths from wallet* I’ve changed my mind. 2 hugs, if that’s okay, please !! π
That was the price I saw, but in your case then , no flowers….so buy one hug get the second free…… haha.
Okayyyy !?! But only on the condition that I get a store card, free insurance for a year, 10 euros off my first purchase (which means you owe me 8 euros π ). home delivery, personal shopper and free bus travel from store to home π
Also you need to buy extra 3 years extra insurance to guarantee the freshness of the hugs. …… hmmmm I see you are not an easy customer….. Sure we can work out a deal! π
I think this serious huggibilty incident may have to be discussed in an International neutral venue, Hawaii or California ?? I’ll get my team, Sonic, Samantha and Star to work on the details once they wake up and played with their ball of string π
Now this is a great idea, Hawaii sounds great, order the cocktails, I’ll be there……. I shall get my consultant Thomas to get all the details together we need.I am sure there we will come to a good solution! π
Sounds good to me. While we are waiting for our teams to scratch out the details, here is a hug from me that’s free π
Thanks, I will take this as a good night hug! xx
Good night ((((hug)))) xox π
beautiful flowers!!
Thank you they are indeed!
Beautiful flowers and the bugs made me think of the ones that make merry in my garden. Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Thank you, are the bugs in your garden also that happy?
They must be. There are so many of them; always feasting on my plants.
I offer you a great BIG Spring (((HUG))), Ute! π
Oh how I love those hugs, thank you so much, Sandra! π
Hope your weekend was beautiful too, Ute. Many thanks!
Thank you , it was! π
Love the angle you captured the flower garden with….it really shows us all of the beauty.
Thank you, not being a photographer I thought it looks nice from that point. Glad it came out so well. xx
I miss spring in Germany – beautiful indeed! (oh what the heck I miss Germany in summer, fall and winter too!! LOL)
I always enjoy going back there for visits too! Nice I can bring you some photos from Germany then π
I do enjoy seeing the pictures. I hope my daughter can see Germany one day – wonderful people and beautiful country.
Thank you very much, it has beautiful countryside and is ever so clean. π
so true – you are making me homesick!
You’ll have to come and visit some time π
It is part of our plan! My one cousin lives in Koblenz and it is so pretty there. We lived in Mannheim when dad was in the army. Mom was from Frankfurt and we have family around that area.
I grew up even further south, do come and visit you will love it again! Koblenz is lovely!
π Without a doubt! My husband spent a year in Garmish on his last deployment and promises to take me. Sadly I could not go with him. My mother and her family took many vacations to Bavaria and the Black Forest areas when she was growing up. Can you be homesick for a place you have never seen? I loved the places we lived and visited in Germany but have never been blessed to visit these areas. I think I would feel right at home.
My sister lives in Bavaria and I am used to be close to the Black Forest, a wonderful place, as a child we used to walk miles through it and had picknicks. I loved it. You certainly have to visit if you love it so much! π
You are getting me excited at the thought of going back to Germany.
π
What a very pretty photo. Those Spring flowers are so colourful and cheerful. Time to get planting. π
Absolutely , thank you very much!
I hope Spring has finally come to Germany! It’s still quite cold here in Dublin. I had a beautiful summer in Dresden in 2007, I hope you have a summer as lovely as that, even if Spring is a little late hehe π
Take care Ute, all the best!
Rohan.
I am back in London now and it is a bit warmer here too. I have seen some open Daffodils now at last. π Yes let’s wish for a super Summer. Well we take what comes and make the best! π Thank Rohan
Wishing you all a wonderful weeekend π
Same to you Anto! (My cooking is getting better by the way! π (smiles)
