Another Star

Standard

Another star, no not me …. I have another star on my Blog of the Year Award…..

Thanks to Marsha Lee I can colour it in now! I am extremely happy to add another star on this. I am going from one celebration to another.

In my eyes, all are stars out there in the blogging sky and it is so vast, so many different blogs, so many different ideas, so many different opinions. I love it!

blog of year 2star

Again the ‘rules’ for this award are simple:

1. Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award

2. Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.

3. Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award  and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)

4. Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them

5. You can now also join our Facebook group – click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience

6. As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…

**********

Yes – that’s right – there are stars to collect!

Unlike other awards which you can only add to your blog once – this award is different!

When you begin you will receive the ‘1 star’ award – and every time you are given the award by another blog – you can add another star!

There are a total of 6 stars to collect.

Which means that you can check out your favourite blogs – and even if they have already been given the award by someone else – you can still bestow it on them again and help them to reach the maximum 6 stars!

I love all blogs I am following , there are so many:

some make me laugh,

some make me think,

some make me wonder,

some make me say “wow”,

some make me enjoy beautiful pictures,

some make me feel great,

some make me learn something and

ALL make me feel  happy and make me feel part of the big blogger family!

So I like to pass it on to a small selection: every blog is fantastic in it’s own way.

You clicked 10,000 times on my blog, that needs a celebration.

Join in with me and have a glass of champagne.

With this celebration I want to thank all the bloggers who have clicked on my blog and

all the bloggers who have liked , and followed and commented on my blog.

I truly hope I gave smiles and happiness away, spread fun and beauty and made people enjoy life as much as I enjoy it.

I love blogging and it has given me happiness, creativity, self esteem and opened up a whole new world to me. I love learning about other cultures, reading other people’s opinions, seeing the beauty of other countries and nature , reading about people’s feelings and learning some truths I never knew. I enjoy the fun side of blogging and meeting new friends all over the world. Blogs have made that possible.

It is a big warm hearted world out there, and I am proud to be part of it!

So thank you , thank you , thank you, thank you!

Dear Friends, you are wonderful and make me feel really special. But it is YOU who are very special to me. I am very touched that Alastair nominated me for the Sensual Blogging Award. I thank him with all my heart.

I have received quite some awards lately and I do love them as it means that you like my blog and it touches you what I write. A wonderful feeling, knowing that I am liked!

This is what you give to me and I thank you all!

ok, I have to answer 7 sensual questions:

Are you happy with yourself?

When you look in the mirror….

What do you see?

and…

do you like what you see?

*****

So many people are unhappy with their looks, body, skincolour, weight and other things about themselves.

It is all a matter of attitude and positive thinking.

Whatever shape, colour or size you are, you are beautiful and amazing. Learn to love yourself is the first step of finding yourself and feeling happy about yourself. We are all different and unique, love the way you are!

Amazing Food

Standard

Since a couple of weeks ago  I am ordering fruit and vegetables from a local farmer, and do not buy it from the supermarket anymore. Organic fruit and veg are the healthiest.  The Farmer makes up a box with fruit and veg and he delivers it to my door on a Wednesday morning.

I can look on the internet what the contents of the week’s box is. I find it far more interesting if I don’t look and I have a great surprise every Wednesday. Like this I get vegetable I have never seen before and I would not buy when shopping as I am not that adventurous. But when I have it in the house it will be eaten.

Last week was this in it………it is a work of art from nature.

On the invoice it says Romanesque cauliflower. I had to take a picture as I find this veg amazing. Doesn’t it look beautiful, almost too nice to cut and cook.

It is not only flowers, animals or sceneries which are beautiful in this world, but also simple vegetables, who would have thought.

I give him the empty box back ……. let’s see what interesting fruit or veg  is in the next one……

I did eventually eat this work of art, and it tasted like cauliflower but a bit more delicate. It was very enjoyable.
