Brilliant Idea!

Standard

In my holidays I stayed in a youth hostel on the Isle of Whight and there were no mirrors in the bathrooms or bedrooms, and I kept asking my teenage boys “how do I look?” Silly question, they would always say ok…

I didn’t really need a mirror as I felt good and was happy, feel good on the inside, look good on the outside.

Who needs a mirror….beauty comes from within!

  1. Every morning I wake up and with the mirrors around me I never look in them unless I absolutely have to – putting on make up is a must and checking that I don’t have my skirt tucked into my undies is another but this is really what I look for. PRICELESS!

    • As Marcus Aurelius says: When you arise in the morning think of what a precious privilige it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy and to love!
Thought of htis quote when reading your comment! Thank you RoSy.

  2. I have this bad bad habit of checking my reflection on anything reflective when I’m out. I don’t even think about doing it, I just do. My head turns at autopilot mode. But I LOVE this picture and idea!

    • I loved the Isle of Wight, was in Totland and in Ryde, loved the West more, it was quieter and more beautiful. I really enjoyed it there.xx (60calories) (we are working out well here with our calories) 🙂

      • Hi Ute. I just woke up my laptop and found that you have blitzed me.:) Wow. Am I going to be busy, but I don’t mind. I spent my early and late years on the Island the rest of the time I worked abroad. Yes. Quite a calorie workout we are having. Hugs. Ralph xx (171 Calories)
